San Andreas State Police

The San Andreas State Police, is the umbrella name used for all of the law enforcement agencies that operate within San Andreas and represents the following departments:

  • Blaine County Sheriffs Office
  • Los Santos Police Department
  • San Andreas State Troopers
  • San Andreas Department of Corrections
  • Public Affairs

History

The San Andreas State Police was officially established in 1889 at the same time as the LSPD was established, so the State could monitor them as well as the BCSO in a more efficient manner.

Prior to this, the BCSO was the only department operating within San Andreas (founded in 1731). The SASP was officially headquartered at Rockford Hills Police Station in 1927 once the station and city hall were built. The SASP was relocated to Mission Row Police Department, and in 2022 moved to Vespucci Police Department after renovation.
